So beautiful. Wow, what chilling words from Sammy!

My 5yo has had a lot of questions about death lately too. I don't think I handled them quite as well

**oops! I just started the comparison game! Let me try again.

**Ahem**

I'm going to think about this post next time death comes up because I like the way you explained things and would like to explain them in the same way to my kids.

Better right? ;-)

I think most parents have those moments when we live for the children's bedtimes, or nap times to have a few moments to ourselves. Then, some moment happens and we are drawn back to the relationship we believe God wants for us and our children. We are human with human desires and selfishness. I feel that relationships are like parallel lines that converge and diverge. Sometime we feel distant other times close and very on track with our lives and relationship. I know you are a consciencious mother doing her best to serve her family and her God.
